Alberta iGaming Rules uses named author attribution for source-led gambling regulation and operator-status content. We do not use invented author biographies, stock headshots or fake reviewer credentials.

Mariia writes and updates source-led Alberta iGaming explainers, operator-status pages, registry-name checks and safer-gambling support content. Her role is editorial research and content production, not legal advice, compliance approval or clinical gambling support.
- Focus: Alberta iGaming status checks, regulatory explainers and safer-gambling pages.
- Source basis: official AGLC, AiGC, Alberta government, operator and dated market sources.
- Commercial relationships are handled through the sitewide disclosure policy, not author bios.
- Contributor conflicts: any operator, regulator, vendor or affiliate relationship would be disclosed here before affected pages are published.

Publication review, source consistency and corrections
The editorial desk reviews pages for source support, status-label consistency, commercial-scope limits and correction handling. This is not a claim of legal, regulator, clinical or government endorsement.
External reviewers
No page is marked as externally reviewed until the reviewer is named or the review arrangement is described accurately. Until then, pages use source-checked wording rather than "expert reviewed" language.
How content is produced
AI tools may be used for drafting outlines, summarizing internal notes or checking consistency across pages. They are not treated as a source. Status claims must be checked against the cited source trail before publication.
Each launch-critical page should answer three questions: who is responsible for the page, how the information was verified, and why the page exists for readers beyond search traffic.
What we disclose
- Real names: Named contributors are listed only when they can be disclosed honestly.
- Credentials: Professional or academic qualifications are listed only when verifiable.
- Conflicts: Any financial, personal or advisory ties to operators or regulators are disclosed before a page is published.
- AI use: If AI tools are used for drafting, that is disclosed in the Editorial Policy.
- Former employment: Prior roles at operators, regulators or lobbying firms are disclosed.
